In 1930 Fox Photos took these picures of a family holidaying in the Tolland Royal Hotel, Bournemouth, Dorset. The hotel is now the exclusive and very expensive Tolland Court private apartments.

* Listed in 1903 as the Tollard Royal boarding establishment, it became the Tollard Royal around the time of World War One. The sadistic murderer Neville Heath was staying here in 1946 when he was arrested for the brutal murder of two women, one of which he had murdered during his stay. He was hanged for his crimes in the same year.
