
Sanford ‘Sandy’ Hoffman, (c. 1937 – 2017), a Cooper Union graduate, was a commercial illustrator from New York City. In the 1960s and 70s, he worked on some fabulously groovy covers for Crossroad Records.
Launched by Epic Records in 1966, Crossroads, “where everyone meets great music”, typically reissued music by Czech label Supraphon. You can see more great LP covers from this label here.
