Getting to know someone we’ve never met thought their photographs is a joy. We’ve seen Irma Louise Rudd’s pictures before. In the 1950s, Irma was a leading light at the South Bay Camera Club in Redondo Beach, California. One afternoon, the club invited children in to have their portraits taken. What we see are snapshots of fashions, objects and styles of the day. As ever, we imagine the stories between the photos. And, of course, if you or anyone you know are in these found photographs, plus get in touch. What do you remember from that day in the studio?
