Istanbul Infinity: Aydin Büyüktas Recreates Turkish Cityscapes In A New Dimension

Turkish photographer Aydın Büyüktaş shares with us his incredible pictures of Istanbul, twisted into an infinite city. Aydin found inspiration in Edwin Abbott’s 1884 satirical novella Flatland: A Romance Of Many Dimensions, a story set in a two dimensional world of fixed shapes and rigid boundaries. Aydin wants us to look anew on the cityscape, seeking new angles and with it another dimension. Rid of a visible horizon, his giddying images are like being sat at the top of a rollercoaster waiting for the swoop.
