“All the photos were taken over 30 years ago in the mid 1980s,” says Roger Clark, whose photographs of the last days of Soviet Moscow and Richmond’s magical funfairs we’ve been delighted to show on Flashbak. In this album we focus on Ghost Train riders at Hampton Court funfair in the mid 1980s. “You will notice how peoples’ reactions to the rides varies. Some are calm – including a baby. Others are more emotional. One woman appeared overwhelmed by the experience and hugged her boyfriend for comfort when they came off the train!”
As ever, if you are in any of these photos, or you know someone who is, please let us know.
