We’ve seen cars on the streets of London in the 1980s and the garages that serviced them. We now see what happened next, when the cars died and were hauled off to the breakers yards. Taken by Peter Marshall as he walked about the city, the photographs take us to another time when Londoners could drive with more freedom than now and park cheaply on land flattened by German bombs.
