32 Mid-Century Christian Family Album Covers

Share this:

Islamists don’t like music. They ban it. That’s sad for any number of ways, not least of all because in hardcore Muslim countries there will be no album covers for future generations to marvel at. Blessedly, Christianity embraces music.

In this gallery, we look back at family singers who recorded albums of Christian music. The family that plays together stays together, so the saying goes. What people say about the family all dressing the same is less certain.

If you were in any of these bands, we’d love to hear from you? Are you still performing as a family ensemble, albeit changed by marriage and death? Did you change your look to blend with the times? Or is the album featured below the apogee of a once great act?

Someone needs to tell the Taylor Family what “quartet” means.

  • Mack Bonham

The Taylor Family seems a little unclear on the concept of a quartet.
