Brooklyn New York City 1970s-58 - from our story 'Brooklyn in Kodachrome – 1970s New York City In Color'

Brooklyn New York City 1970s

My street in 1975 Brooklyn. 57th Street in Boro Park between 13th Avenue and New Utrecht Avenue. Taken in front of our back yard, aimed south-east towards the the B Elevated train, AKA "The West End Line" built in 1917, ran/runs there. It is now the D train and that is all it is known as. The white blur is the result of a time-exposed photo taken with my Minolta SRT-102 on my Bogen Tripod. I'm sure many of you out there can have fun tagging the cars. This is a scan of a 5x7 darkroom print made likely days after it was photographed. Oh...by tagging, I didn't mean graffiti. :-) [Sugar...Tnx. I don't know if it's beautiful but it is gritty - California sounds good to me]] The train appear to be on the far side which means it is Manhattan-bound, not Coney Island-bound. (trailing edge is also a give-away.)
