“I thought you might be interested to share some of my color slides from Europe in the late 1970s and early 1980s when I was a college backpacker,” writes LA-based writer Pat Saperstein. “I travelled to Europe as a teenaged backpacker in 1977 and 1979 and then lived in Paris in 1983, taking Kodachrome slides during that time.”
Of course, we are interested. So here are Pat’s evocative photographs from her trips, taking in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brindisi, Greece and other places everyone should see.
