Artist Doug Hyde’s sculpture,“Little Turtle (Michikinikwa)” at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, a complex of five museums and a research library in Cody, Wyoming, featuring art and artifacts of the American West. Chief Little Turtle was a fierce warrior who led confederated Indian tribes into battle against U.S. and British forces in the “Northwest War” of the 1790s, fought in what is now the American Upper Midwest.
