In 1966, The Rolling Stones were on tour, supported by The Yardbirds, Long John Baldry and Peter Jay and the New Jaywalkers and Ike & Tina Turner.

Formed in 1962, The Stones had their first number one in ‘64 and in 1966 had released what was to be their breakthrough album an their fourth studio album, Aftermath, which featured the hits written by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, Mother’s Little Helper, Lady Jane and Under My Thumb.
