Everest Boots - from our story 'When Wearing Fur Was De Rigueur in London (1900 – 1950)'

Boots being handmade for Edmund Hillary's Mount Everest expedition, 21st January 1953. The boot on the right is still under construction, and the fur interlining can be seen.
