With the approach of Christmas the thoughts of all Christian people turn to Bethlehem, birthplace of Christ and to Jerusalem, scene of his crucifixion, and do the surrounding coutryside where history was made in the dawn of the Christian era. Many places have changed little with the passing centuries and on all sides the country abounds with beautiful vistas.
