The official return of 100,000 Londoners to their homes began oJune 4, when the first " Devacuse" train arrived at St. Pancras station bringin 800 mothers and children from Leicester. Buses awaited to take the mothers and kiddies to dispersal centres where, after a hot meal, they went to their homes.
