On August 11 1955 Vice President Richard M. Nixon rode into Disneyland and took a ride on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride 2. Before his defenestration, Richard Nixon visited Disneyland for fun times on four occasions: 1955, 1959, 1961 and 1968. In 1973, Nixon as there again. But this was business. Mire in the Watergate scandal, Nixon appeared at the Associated Press Managing Editors annual conference at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It was there on Nov. 17, 1973, during a televised Q&A session with the press, Nixon declared: “I am not a crook.”

      Yes, Disney’s star of their series, Davey Crockett. Since Disney had a contractual agreement with ABC, and a way of promoting the Park and series. It was a win on both sides.

    In the current political climate, nobody’s going to say anything about the photo of Nixon sitting in the car of the Snow White ride that is marked “Dopey”???
