Bobcat Pins, Hot Chocolate and Toast – My Cub Scout Log Book (1957)

These pages were found at an estate auction in Beverly, New Jersey, a suburb of Philadelphia...

“Sometimes I find it both tragic, and amazing, that I’m buying memories by the box full for as little as $2 per box, but like they say ‘one man’s junk…’,” says Ken Kriete, who buys and sells items of of all sorts, “but I’m especially attracted to any sort of paper and ephemera.”

“All I can tell you about these pages is that I found them mixed in with just such a box lot of paper items and photographs. I purchased them at an estate auction in Beverly, New Jersey, a suburb of Philadelphia. I’ve yet to sort through the rest of the box but it was filled with hundreds of snapshots, 8×10 photos of a little league team, award certificates from school and scouting, some sew on patches from various campgrounds, postcards and old greeting cards.”

Is that you in these photos, or someone you know? If it is, we’d love to hear from you!
