Reading Festival in the 1970s and Steven Vaughan’s great snapshots of the show in 1979. Now Steve shares with us his photos of Reading Festival 1981. They are full of fun, humor, vigour and silliness. Badly focused, wrongly framed and poorly lit, every photo is a treat, a vision of carefree exuberance. I’d wager that no-one of the tired, dirty, ‘tired and emotional’ and happy people in these pictures ever looked better.
